Loading unit – RFID transponders for loading garments on hangers
This unit is the part of Conique where the laundry loads garments on hangers after they have been washed. They do this direct from the truck, completely unsorted. Then the optimizing function begins sorting the clothes to be dispensed as fast as possible.
When the clothes are loaded, you are kept up to date on all inward deliveries at all times. Should any unknown garments on hangers be loaded, Conique informs you immediately and you can decide whether you want to sort out any garments which should not be there.
The unit is the part of Conique where the laundry loads garments on hangers after they have been washed. They do this direct from the trolley, completely unsorted. The antenna identifies the clothes through RFID transponders. By attaching RFID transponders to the garments they are always marked with an unique identity. After the clothes have been identified, they are placed in the right position on the conveyor by the system. At the monitor the laundry personnel can always supervise the workflow. You can even reverse the loading process and start withdrawing garments.
Then the optimizing function comes in, sorting the clothes to be dispensed as fast as possible. The optimization is done when Conique is not in use, in order to put the garments in the best position.
